The Tri-state area's premier electrical contractor is seeking experienced Senior Electrical Foreman/ Junior Project Manager for our commercial division in Souderton, PA. As a Senior Foreman/ Junior Project Manger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of various commercial electrical projects, overseeing and participating in installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical work, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Foreman:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of Electrical Mechanics and other team members, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards. Plan and schedule work assignments, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Minimum 10-15 years' experience in commercial electrical construction
- Minimum 5-6 years in a foreman or crew-lead role
- Proven success managing crew sizes from 10 to 20 electricians
- Experience working on multifamily, hotels, assisted living, warehouses, retail, hospitals, or office buildings
- Proficient with NEC requirements, OSHA safety standards, conduit bending, wire pulling, transformer/gear layout, fire alarm installation, and lighting control systems
- Ability to lay out and install Feeders and branch circuits using NM, MC, EMT, RGS, and PVC
- Ability to lay out and install Panels, gear, switchboards, Lighting, controls, emergency systems, generators, fire alarm, and low-voltage pathways
- Experience supervising commercial rough-in, final, equipment hookups, and troubleshooting
- Able to coordinate with other trades, GCs, project managers, and inspectors
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Ability to train apprentices and helpers
- Strong time-management and accountability
- Must be self-directed, able to follow drawings without micromanagement
- Works well under pressure and in changing field conditions
