Electrical Foreman - Summit Contracting
Location: Seward, NE
Company: Summit Contracting
Job Type: Full-time Non-Exempt
Hours: 45-55 hours/week
Pay Range: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for managing, leading, and supporting the crew, monitoring quality, safety, and cleanliness on site, and overseeing all electrical activities. This position ensures all electrical work is completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
This is a field leadership role for someone who can run people, manage schedules, solve problems, and take pride in building things the right way.
Essential Functions
Schedule, assign, and supervise all electrical activities
Review work requests, determine cost and staffing needs, set priorities, and assign work
Ensure occupational health and safety in accordance with state and federal regulations, departmental policies, and industry standards
Inspect work in progress for compliance with codes, specifications, and quality procedures
Inspect completed work to ensure quality control standards are met
Monitor performance of assigned personnel and conduct performance management as needed
Manage procurement of electrical equipment and materials
Complete daily field logs and maintain weekly updated schedules
Meet production targets and project deadlines
Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Knowledge
Required:
Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one)
Nebraska Journeyman Electrician license
OSHA 10 certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams
Preferred:
OSHA 30
Bachelor's or associate degree in the electrical field
Qualifications
2+ years of field experience
Proven leadership, and people management experience
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking ability
