With over 50 years in business, ISO 9001 Certification, and a presence in global markets like filtration, automotive, composites, medical, and consumer products, we’re looking for a skilled professional to join our team.We are seeking a Journeyman-level Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician with a minimum of 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.What We Offer:Competitive compensationComprehensive health & welfare benefits401(k) Retirement Savings PlanPaid vacation & holidaysCompany-paid life insuranceAdditional benefits and employee programsKey Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, including motors, transformers, PLCs, and control panelsDiagnose and troubleshoot issues with PLCs, AC/DC variable speed drives, motor control centers (MCCs), switchgear, and power distribution systemsInterpret and update electrical schematics, loop diagrams, blueprints, and technical manualsPerform preventive and predictive maintenanceCollaborate with engineers, maintenance, and operations teamsEnsure compliance with OSHA, National Electric Code (NEC), and company safety policiesDocument all work performed accurately and completelyRequirements:Journeyman-level experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) (Certification not required)5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong understanding of industrial electrical systemsProficient in working with PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, and switchgearExperience in preventive/predictive maintenance programsAbility to work independently or in a team environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical E&I training preferredSchedule:Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM–3:00 PMOccasional overtime required for special projectsParticipation in rotating on-call listPre-Employment Requirements:Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screenBackground check and verification of prior work history required upon job offerCEREX Advanced Fabrics, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free Workplace.
