This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership and planning to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient production of prefabricated electrical components.Key ResponsibilitiesEmploys creative, practical, and cost-effective assembly methods through knowledge of electrical construction environment with a think-outside-the-box planning perspective.Supervise and mentor assembly technicians to maintain high standards of safety and workmanshipCollaborate with the Prefabrication Manager to plan and execute project requirementsInterpret electrical drawings and develop efficient assembly strategiesCreate and modify 2D digital drawings for prefabrication using software toolsCoordinate preconstruction activities and attend project turnover meetingsCommunicate effectively with project managers and field leadershipTroubleshoot and resolve production and workflow issuesMaintain inventory and coordinate material needs with purchasing agentsDocument time, materials, and team hours using digital systemsConduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with standardsCompletes job safety analysis forms once (or more) per day as tasks requirePromote a safety-first culture through daily job safety analysis and supervisionRequirements:Educational/Work Experience/Certifications2 years electrical vocational school preferredLeadership experience preferred. Minimum of 4 yrs. related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.Skills/Abilities Proficient in Microsoft 365, Bluebeam; AutoCAD experience is a plus Strong understanding of NEC and NFPA 70E codes Effective verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and sound judgment/decision-making abilitiesProactive learner with a desire to continuously improve and growConsiderable organizational, coordination, and deadline driven abilitiesAbility to coach and develop assembly teams skills to meet targeted goalsAbility to complete assigned projects with reasonable directionHas successfully managed different project sizes of Commercial Electrical projectsAbility to appreciate how their department's work supports the organization as a wholeAble to evolve with the department to realize the organization's long-term goals Familiarity with Trimble technology is a plusWorking Conditions Must be comfortable working safely at all times while in an active fabrication shop environmentShop Foreman/Lead to employ strict supervision of tasks to be completed by assembly teamMust maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to zero-injury cultureTasks assigned may include but are not limited to: Lifting not to exceed fifty poundsCutting/grinding, welding and other hot work activitiesUse of several types of saws on various materialsUse of drill press/various hand operated drilling equipmentUse of various pipe threading equipment (1/2”-6”)Use of conduit bending equipment in various sizes and styles (1/2”-4”)Lifting/rigging of heavy components (Work with overhead crane)Equipment operation as needed.Special Requirements Valid PA Driver's License with ability to travel to job sites as neededBackground checks, screenings, and physicals Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standardsAbility to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendanceCompensation details: 52000-74000 Yearly SalaryPI06ebef00e1c7-25405-36023083
