Job Summary:This position is responsible for scheduling and prioritizing all work performed in the assigned area of responsibility; providing quotes for jobs and work order review for customer billing; customer communications; shop safety practices and compliance with shop operating policies. This position has major responsibilities to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction.The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the companys mission and core business values; 2)Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.Essential Functions:Models promote reinforces and rewards the consistent use of HOLTs Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools models and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision Values and MissionEstablishes and mutually agrees upon and communicates job expectations (i.e. accurate price quotes and time estimates) to internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction according to our mission and core business valuesEstablishes models and reinforces safety practices which are consistent with our mission to ensure employee and customer safetyModels collaborative problem solving and personal influencing skills to ensure that service activities in incumbents area of responsibility are aligned with the overall business plan of the service department and companyProvides Service Manager with status reports on all open work orders in an accurate and timely mannerReviews monthly service operations branch statement to assess progress on department business goalsParticipates in the selection development and evaluation of service department personnel to ensure a high level of commitment and competence is available in our human resourcesWorks safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; planning assigning and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Travel: Up to 30% travel required to include overnight travelValid drivers licensePhysical Requirements:Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigueOccasionally move materials or equipment weighing up to 50 poundsConstant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity coordination and staminaAscend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself using both hands and feet and climb up and down laddersBe able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipmentRoutinely reacts to visual auditory and other signals including alarms and instructions and is required to visually inspect workWork Environment:Regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather heat cold and humidityNoise levels may be loud at timesExposure to small quantities of chemicals steam high-pressure water and high-speed rotating equipmentSignificant time spent in confined spaces and high placesDisclaimer:Please note that the above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
