We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands phosphate mining fertilizer manufacturing farming ranching and cattle production and other enterprises related to agriculture.Summary The Electrical Technician works independently troubleshooting repairing and maintaining electrical equipment and ensures all equipment is in safe working condition within the packaging and processing areas of a vegetable processing facility.Key Responsibilities Maintains all electrical systems from low voltages to 4160 voltRepairs or replaces all electrical devices including but not limited to: breaker panels motor starters heaters fuses lights AC drives motors electrical switches etc. all in accordance with state and federal codes including company policies and proceduresMaintains and troubleshoots VFDs soft starts lighting and control circuitsMust be able to install plant equipment run conduits pull wire install switches breaker panels etc. as needed to supply power to plant electrical apparatusWorks with electrical meters such as amp clamps volt meters analog meters meggers etc.Must be able to assist all other maintenance personnel in the event of a major plant break downAssists the Instrumentation/PLC TechnicianPerforms other duties as assignedTypical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Relevant Experience 3 years related experience and/or trainingOther Information Good knowledge of computer systemsMust be familiar with automated control systems and be able to read understand and maintain electrical drawings and manuals2 years experience in a processing environmentExcellent oral written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to read and write in EnglishAbility to work any shift weekend and overtime if requiredAbility to balance multiple tasks be flexible and work well under pressureAbility to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgmentJob Requisition ID: 24051Travel Required: NoneLocation(s): GF Plant - PascoCountry: United StatesWage range or rate of pay: $34.24/HRThe compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience skills education location and other job-related reasons.Attractive total rewards package that includes:Medical dental vision coverage401(k) savings plan10 Paid HolidaysPaid Time Off (where applicable)Relocation Assistance Program (where applicable)Education Assistance (where applicable)Benefits details available at **The J.R.
