If resolving electrical components interests you we would love to have you join our team!*Cross-border relocation not offered for this position What you will do:Ensure thatelectrical maintenance work is performed in compliance with regulations and company O&M procedure requirements.Adhere to Company safety and work policies.Perform emergency response first responder duties.Complete all mandatory safety and technical training.Complete all required Operator Qualified(OQ) training and certifications.Develop and execute equipment lock-outs and routine open system job plans.Maintain calibrate and troubleshoot pipeline system electrical equipment: substation equipment medium voltage switchgear VFDs 480V systems PLC systems instrumentation systems petroleum quality systems and measurement systems.Use maintenance management system i.e. Maximo to document maintenance work.Collaborate with theArea Supervisor otherElectrical Technicians Mechanical Technicians Technical Specialists and PLM to plan schedule and execute maintenance work efficiently and effectivelyAssist Electrical &Mechanical Technicians inwork group atvarious locationsas required.Maintain terminal and station records and update drawings as required.Submit as-built drawings to drafting department to ensure area drawings are up to date.Assist project teams with construction projects as assigned: design reviews Hazops pre-bid tours pre-construction meetings mechanical equipment installation and equipment commissioning.Communicate with and maintain a positive working relationship with the Control Center operators Operations and Maintenance personnel and other internal and external stakeholders.Responsible for site security.Implement other duties assigned by management.Responsible for acquisition of components for repairs.Provide justification for replacement of equipment.Provide justification for the purchase of new equipment.Perform tasks within the allocated operating budget for each area of responsibility.Ensure regulatory compliance PHMSA OSHA EPA etc.Assist with Stakeholder Engagement Damage Prevention and Emergency Response.Oversee contractors or project work.Who you are:You have the following education & experience:High School Diploma or equivalentCompletion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program or 2 yearelectrical technical/vocational degree.Twoor more years experience in industrialelectrical maintenance.Excellent trouble shooting ability.Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Effective computer skills.Valid drivers license & excellent driving record.Must live (or relocate) within 25 miles of the reporting location.undefinedPreferred:Electrical Journeyman or participation in an accredited Apprenticeship ProgramIndustrialExperience with HVAC/experience in maintenance of crude oil pipeline system pumping station(s) or delivery facilities or certified technical designation.Physical Requirements:Include but are not limited to: Balancing bending and stooping climbing crawling carrying (up to 50 pounds) grasping kneeling lifting (objects up to 75 pounds) pulling hand over hand pushing reaching above shoulder repetitive motion sitting standing walking visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement.Mental Requirements:Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines complete routine forms compose letters outlines memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.At Enbridge we are dedicated to our core value of are proud to bean Equal Opportunity Employer.
