Jon FainJoin the team behind our custom compounds.Key Responsibilities:Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues on the machinery and make repairsAbility to troubleshoot PLC issues on the machinery and make repairsEmergency and general maintenance activities including weekend and off-shift workAbility to troubleshoot repair maintain and make changes to HMIs PLCs and VMDsProject installation activities as assigned by the Process EngineerAnalyze and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components diagnosing and correcting the problems quickly to avoid production delaysEnsure company safety procedures are being adhered toRegularly monitor & manage inventory levels for critical spare parts and identify gapsParticipate in all plant safety initiativesPrioritize and repair safety related issues as defined by the safety committee and/or STOP Card programComplete computer-based training on a monthly basis or when assignedCompliance with all policies procedures and rules as establishedEffective communication skills to communicate issues and solutions to cross-functional stakeholdersConsult/communicate regularly with all functional teams in the facilityMust be able to read instructions 1-line diagrams ladder logic & manuals and use meters hand tools and shop equipmentOther duties as assignedQualifications:Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master LicenseMinimum of 3 years of Manufacturing ExperienceHigh school diplomaExperience with HMI equipment preferred (company will provide training)Allen Bradley PLC experience preferred (company will provide training)Heavy industry experience with electrical systems and production equipment requiredTwo or more years of experience in electrical maintenance required.Proficiency in preventative maintenance systems a plus.Ability to work long or odd hours on your feet and lift 50 lbsJoin the Teknor Apex Team and you will enjoy many perks and benefits: Medical Dental and Vision with extremely LOW deductibles Low-cost insurance plan - 85% paid by the company Wellness program to earn substantial discounts for medical premiums Up to 7% Employer Contribution to 401K Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays Sign on Bonus Pay Increases throughout the first year of employment and annual merit increases Quarterly Perfect Attendance Incentives Employee Recognition Program earn points to purchase a wide variety of amazing productsTeknor Apex is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any protected status under state or federal laws.
