Job DescriptionThis position troubleshoots evaluates and inspects electrical and mechanical systems including specialized equipment in state facilities pump stations and rest areas.The duties of this position require the incumbent to operate a vehicle or vehicle/trailer combination with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26001 pounds or more (e.g. large utility truck aerial devices crane trucks).The Salary listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the Electrician Licensed E9 position. Continuing employment requires possession of a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Group A with either an N or X endorsement and no air brake restrictions which must be obtained within 12 months of the date of hire into the position and must maintain throughout employment in the position.Possess a journeyman electricians license issued by the State of Michigan.View the entire job specification at does not participate in E-Verify and does not sponsor visa applications.All newly hired state employees are required to submit and pass a pre-employment drug test and physical (if applicable) prior to their actual appointment.
