Electrician at Construction Mechanics Inc

Construction Mechanics Inc (CMI) is looking for skilled Commercial Electricians to join our team and support our clients ongoing and upcoming job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings
• Run, bend, and install conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC), wire, and cable
• Install and connect panels, switches, breakers, lighting, and control systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Test systems using appropriate tools to ensure safety and compliance
• Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades
• Follow NEC codes, OSHA standards, and company safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician (journeyman level preferred)
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and construction plans
• Skilled in conduit bending, pulling wire, and installing fixtures
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• State licensing or certification (if required in your area)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
