DescriptionAs a Electrician - Facilities Maintenance II here at Honeywell you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and operation of Honeywells facilities. You are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities related to facility maintenance repairs and operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations managing budgets and coordinating maintenance tasks. Your leadership and management skills will contribute to optimizing facility performance enhancing operational efficiency and creating a positive and productive workplace for employees.In this role you will impact facility-related issues proactively and will contribute to the smooth functioning of our operations as well as enhance the overall business performance. You will help create a well-managed and optimized facility infrastructure that supports our business objectives and enhances the employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical maintenance and repairs on facility systems including lighting power distribution and control systems.Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of facility projects and repairs.Install troubleshoot and maintain fire alarm systems including smoke detectors pull stations control panels and emergency lighting ensuring compliance with local fire codes and NFPA standards.Execute structured cabling and network infrastructure installations including running data cables terminating connections and testing network performance.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVEA minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.Strong knowledge of electrical systems codes and safety regulations.Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems in a facility environment.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.WE VALUETechnical certification in electrical maintenance or a related field.Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Knowledge of HVAC and building automation systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.NICET Level 1 or higherBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELLIn addition to a competitive salary leading-edge work and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
