Job DescriptionAmee Bay LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Electrician Foreman to join your team in San Diego, CA. Position Overview: Electrician Foreman supervises and/or accomplishes manufacture, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical and electronic equipment. The employee will perform a wide variety of different tasks depending on the needs of the company.Position Responsibilities:Supervising and coordinating the activities of electriciansReading blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assemblyInstalling, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipmentEnsuring compliance with safety procedures and regulationsInteracting with contractors and clients in order to ensure successful contract accomplishmentTraining and mentoring electrical workersPreparing estimates, budgets, and work timetablesEnsuring all electrical installations meet quality and legal standardsKnowledge of navy AC (60 and 400 Hz) and DC electrical systemsNavy tag-out, WAF programs and applicable Naval procedures / instructionsMaintain QWI and associated formsImplements and monitor OSHA safetyKnowledge of Navy electrical and electronic systemsAble to troubleshoot, disassemble, and inspect electrical equipmentAble to clean electrical equipment and parts, reassemble, and operationally test equipment.Knowledge of electrical systems such as switchboards, switchgear, distribution panels, controls, etc.Versed in the use of common electrical measuring instruments, and of various electronic measuring devices, such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, power analyzers and megohmmeters.Familiar with the use of Precision Measuring InstrumentationAbility to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, written technical instructions and manuals.Ability to plan and make working diagrams and circuits.Capable of cable run fabrication and wire way fabricationWorking knowledge of trade mathematics and formulas in order to calculate voltage, amperes and resistance requirements and to determine size and types of material, such as controls, switches, distribution panels, fuses, etc.Position Requirements: US CitizenshipMust be able to obtain/maintain security and base access clearance. Active clearance is preferred High School Diploma or equivalentNavy 'A' / 'C' school(s) or completion of a vocational, maritime, or journeyman training program.Minimum eight (8) years' experience.Proven work experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar roleIn-depth knowledge of electrical systems and electrical codeAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprintsExcellent leadership and project management skillsStrong problem-solving abilitiesGood communication skillMust have a valid U.S. Driver's LicenseMust pass drug screening.This position is located in San Diego, CA.
