Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Lab Technician DEPARTMENT: QualityJOB Classification: E-SelectWAGE: $26.01 SHIFT/HOURS: D Crew / 1800-0600BUSINESS PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Analyze and perform various types of automation manual titration on all instrumentation.Proficient in all types of lab testing.Sufficient in all quality systems.Basic knowledge of microbiology testing.Provide statistical data to team/groupKey responsibilities:RESPONSIBILITIES TASKS SUCCESS CRITERIADeliver and complete all lab analytical testing in a timely mannerProficient in all laboratory testing which may include but not limited to; ph moisture fat grading and lactose.Transfer data into SAP/Quality Suite systemsMaintain good record keeping and documentation.Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the Springfield QRMP accountability documentAccountable for the Safety Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.Fluent in searching EQCMS database for documents and specificationsProficient in Quality Systems and Analytical TestingQuality SuiteSAPQuality Analytical TestingMicrobiology TestingMatricsMeridianHold and ReleaseAOAC Proficiency testingDevelop capability and effectiveness of the team.Drive innovation in current quality practicesImplement new ideas to improve ways of working in quality departmentMust be able to present and explain statistical analysis of process.Capability to place material on and off hold in SAPUnderstand and accountable for the KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S involvement in process improvements etc.Update work instructionsProficient Microsoft programs (Word Excel and PowerPoint)Lead problem-solving activities.Must be able to investigate/troubleshoot all information that is OOS or noncompliant with company standards.Basic understanding of calibration process for instrumentation devices.Implement new 5S strategies within work flow of daily activitiesLosses eliminatedSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLEExcellent communication skills (written verbal and presentation)Must be able to work independently without supervision.Leadership-able to drive change and improvements through collaboration with business unitsAbility to Learn person must be able to adapt and learn new skills quicklyManage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneouslyAnalysis and problem solving skillsDrive for resultsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLEPerforms bending squatting kneeling sorting ascending and descending moves up to 50 pounds;holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment and disassembleand reassemble equipment.WORKING ENVIRONMENT FOR THE ROLEIndoor mix of cool and room temperature environment.NOTE: Select jobs are positions that have interviews (E Select L U P).
