Job Overview
Looking for an experienced Carded Journeymen Electrician for a full-time, long-term career with River City Industrial Inc. We are a class A Contractor, working in Richmond Virginia and the surrounding areas. Our electrical work consists of new ground-up commercial projects, demos, renovations and plant maintenance.

Job requirements:

• Must be able to work with an electrical apprentice daily
• Be able to run projects to include managing cost effectively
• Read blueprint drawings and schematics
• Run multiple crews efficiently
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Effectively coordinate with other trades and GC's on job sites.
• hanging and installation of different types of light fixtures
• installing, maintaining, and repairing of electrical systems such as panels, lighting, outlets, and switches
• conduit bending and installation, running branch circuits, installation of PVC conduit, MC cable
• advanced knowledge of the NEC

Personal Requirements:

• Have own basic electrical hand tools
• must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• must have a clean driving record.

Summary

As a Commercial Journeymen Electrician, you will be essential in executing electrical installations and renovations in both commercial and industrial settings. Reporting to the project manager, you will utilize your core skills in electrical experience, hand tools, and NEC compliance to ensure safe and efficient work. Additionally, your relevant abilities in blueprint reading and multi voltage systems will contribute to the successful completion of projects, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. • M-F 8 or 10 hr shifts - overtime, nights and weekends as needed

Experience:

• Electrical: 3 years of Journeymen (Required)
