This role is Full-time Days working 40 hours weekly.Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety quality and patient experience.We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.Featured Benefits:Committed to Team Member Health:offering medical dental and vision coverage and a robust team member wellness program.Retirement:Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions starting on your first day.Tuition and Student Loan Assistance:offeringup to $5250 per year in education assistance and up to $10000 for student loans.Mental Health Support:offering all Inova team members their spouses/partners and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions per person per year at no cost.Work/Life Balance:offeringpaid time off paid parental leave.Electrician Sr Job Responsibilities:Assists the HVAC Supervisor and Power House Supervisor in analyzing and repairing the hospital energy control system.Supports/assists the Engineering department by trouble shooting and repairing the controls of a variety of OR/special procedures equipment.Completes assigned work orders and PM orders to maintain the reliability and integrity of the electrical infrastructure in the hospital.Informs supervisor if additional resources are required to complete customer requests.Completes all PM orders pertaining to the fire alarm system and submits to the supervisor at the end of each working day.Evaluates and determines the resources necessary to accomplish electrical construction requirements for assigned renovation projects.Inspects and repairs all deficiencies relating to the fire alarm system to provide a hazard free environment for the patients staff and visitors using the buildings.Minimum Requirements:Education:High School diploma or equivalent.Experience: 6 years of experience in the electrical trade in a commercial or industrial environment. Minimum 3 years of experience analyzing and repairing control systems.Certification: Certification in the Electrical trade OSHA Certification.Licensure: Electrical Journeymans License or must work under supervision of a Master Electrician at the site.Required Experience:Senior IC Key Skills Low Voltage,Hand Tools,Commercial Electrician Experience,Construction Experience,Electrical Experience,Generator Repair,NEC,Schematics,High Voltage,Programmable Logic Controllers,Power Tools,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
