JOB DESCRIPTION
Electro Mechanical Assembler | Lockheed Martin
You will be the Electro Mechanical Assembler for the Electro?Mechanical Assembly team with Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) in Archbald, PA. Our team is responsible for building precision electro?mechanical assemblies, harnesses, and circuit cards at the Archbald facility.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electro Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling components and sub?assemblies while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Work in a team or solo environment to assemble components and main assemblies
- Supports the manufacture of harnesses, circuit cards and miscellaneous assemblies
- Diligently follow work instructions to ensure product specs, performance targets and quality levels are met
- Form Components and hand or machine populate circuit cards
- Assembler would operate various equipment such as but not limited to Laser wire strippers, crimpers, pneumatic tools etc.
- Perform detailed soldering operations on micro and sub miniature components and parts as assigned
- Building of precision Electro Mechanical Assemblies, wiring of assemblies and sub assemblies
- Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities
- Contribute to a safe working environment by following safety requirements
- Work to ESD Requirements
- Use hand tools, computers, and other equipment to manufacture the product
- Ability to perform all jobs within work area
- Ability to multi-task, sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Assist in the training of employees as assigned
- Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
