JOB DESCRIPTION
Electro Mechanical Assembler
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Electro Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As an Electro Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electro Mechanical Assembler
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Pay Range: $21- $22 per hour
Shift: Monday- Friday from 6 am - 2:30pm (with OT required after training is completed 5am- 3:30pm and Saturdays 5am- 10am)
What's the Job?
- Assemble electro-mechanical products using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, and wrenches.
- Read and interpret production assembly drawings, diagrams, BOMs, and routing notes to ensure accurate assembly.
- Perform basic soldering functions on PCBs, subassemblies, and electronic components.
- Follow verbal instructions from the Assembly Lead and Production Manager to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring foreign objects are not mixed with conforming parts.
What's Needed?
- 2+ years of electro-mechanical assembly and soldering experience
- Ability to assemble complex parts and fabricate wire assemblies using wire harness boards.
- Experience with using appropriate materials such as Penetrox, Thermal Compound, Loctite, and RTV silicon.
- Knowledge of reading production drawings, diagrams, and BOMs.
- Capable of making adjustments to machinery based on dimensional non-conformity.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an organized work station.
