Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician at Greenleaf Corporation
JOB DESCRIPTION
Greenleaf Corporation is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to be responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of complex industrial equipment and facility systems including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated control systems. Ensures maximum equipment reliability, safety, and production uptime for the Saegertown, PA facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex equipment failures across multiple disciplines
(electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls) - Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, drives, sensors, robotics, and HMIs
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Install, align, and commission new equipment and system upgrades
- Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, conveyors, furnaces, etc.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems including proportional controls
- Support automation systems including VFDs, servos, and safety circuits
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (LOTO, NFPA 70E, OSHA, etc.)
- Document maintenance activities in CMMS
- Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field
or equivalent experience - 5-10+ years industrial maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
Preferred
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Experience with robotics and automated systems
- VFD/servo drive knowledge
- Welding and fabrication capability
- Predictive maintenance tools (vibration, thermography, etc.)
