Electromechanical Technician - MECHANIC at Matec Instrument Companies, Inc.

CALLING ALL MECHANICS!

We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Technician to join our team building large, complex ultrasonic testing machines used in real-world industrial applications.

If you're the type of person who enjoys working with your hands, figuring out how things work, and building equipment from the ground up-this could be a great fit.

• Assemble mechanical systems and components using shop tools
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
• Build and help test custom machines (not repetitive assembly line work)
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments during builds
• Collaborate with a small, skilled team

• Experience as a mechanic, technician, or machine builder
• Comfortable using hand and power tools (drills, taps, torque tools, etc.)
• Ability to read and follow blueprints or mechanical drawings
• Strong problem-solving mindset-someone who likes figuring things out
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work

• Build unique, custom machines (no boring, repetitive work)
• Work in a clean, organized shop environment
