The Electronics Assembler III is in charge of performing within his / her area of technological specification tasks in the manufacturing process in accordance with the manufacturing documentation and the time allocated using the resources available (including conventional and/or digital machine tools) and inspects his / her own work. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Key Areas of ResponsibilityWorks from assembly instructions parts lists wire lists diagrams verbal instructions and notes to assemble wire and install a wide variety of componentsIdentifies and selects components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly unitsUtilizes a wide range of tools including soldering ironInterfaces with PC to record job activitiesAbility to read and understand Engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclatureKnow how to read and follow assembly work instructions including drawing assemblies and MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions)Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or one-year certificate from college/technical school or two to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.3 to 5 years of experience in electronic mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessingAbility to communicate and understand verbal and written instructionsExcellent Team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaborationFlexible with jobs that can assist in other areas#LI-DNIThis position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
