Electronic Assembler

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25/hr
Onsite Schedule: 5:30am2pm with OT

What's a typical day as Electronic Assembler? You'll be:
- Assembling, wiring, and installing a variety of electronic components following assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, and verbal instructions
- Selecting components for integration into sub-assembly and assembly units
- Using a wide range of hand tools, including soldering irons, cutters, screwdrivers, and crimping tools
- Inspecting your own work and ensuring compliance with all documentation and time requirements
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing assembly instructions
- Recording job activities and using computer systems like MRP-SAP, Chorus 2.0, and Team Center to verify documents and procedures
- Supporting calibration of test equipment and hand tools, and assisting with tool crib operations
- Participating in continuous improvement programs by following Lean Concepts and 5S guidelines
- Assisting other production lines, warehouse, stockroom, and kitting teams as needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma/GED, or a one-year certificate from a college/technical school, or two to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bring 35 years of experience in electronic/mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessing
- Are able to read and build from engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclature
- Communicate and understand verbal and written instructions effectively
- Are a proven team player with a collaborative approach to accomplishing goals
- Are flexible and willing to support different areas as needed
- Have computer proficiency to look up engineering EOs and documentation
- (Preferred) Have experience with prototype cable manufacturing, IPC-620 or IPC-610 certification, and mechanical assembly
- Possess strong soldering skills and familiarity with crimping tools
