Electronic Assembler at PGS Worldwide

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking skilled Electronic Assemblers to join our team supporting aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. This opportunity involves hands-on assembly of electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment. You will be following detailed work instructions and using industry-standard tools and techniques to build precision electronic hardware.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and modules using work instructions, diagrams, visual aids, process sheets, and samples.
• Perform mechanical assembly operations related to electronic hardware.
• Use standard measuring instruments and hand tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all phases of assembly work.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of two years of high school or trade school education.
• Experience in electronic assembly processes including component installation and mechanical assembly techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and prints.
• Skilled in the use of standard hand tools and measuring equipment.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience assembling electronic circuit cards is strongly preferred.
• Hand soldering experience is a plus.
• IPC J-STD Certification is highly desirable.
• Comfortable using Windows-based computers and willing to learn electronic documentation systems.
