You've got to be sharp, and you must be on your game every day... because you will be an essential part of everyday life.Candidate must be able to install, repair and maintain machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment such as electrical controls, electrical/servo motors, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic and Programmable Logic Controller equipment. Preferred Candidates will have knowledge on Hurco CNC mills, DMG CNC mills, GF EDM sinkers, and Methods Feeler CNC milling machines. This position reports to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager and supports the operations group in the shop.Location: Whitesboro, NY (Onsite) - Willingness to travel to offsite training facilities to further education and repair techniques is required. Responsibilities: Install, repair and maintain machineryInstall, repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment such as electrical controls, servo motors, pneumatic, hydraulic as well as Programmable Logic Controller equipment.Diagnose and test machines, transformers, motors, controls, lighting fixtures and replace broken wires cables and parts.Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as printed circuit boards.Replace electric motors and ball screwsRun Programs on automated machinery to test for malfunctions and verify repairs.Communicated tasks completed to team leaders and supervisors before leaving area.Diagnose and replace faulty electrical hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.Required Qualification:High School diploma or GEDAt least 5 years' experience working on CNC equipment, At least 2 years performing calibrations and working with test equipment and low voltage controlsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Hurco CNC mills, DMG CNC mills, GF EDM sinkers, and Methods Feeler CNC milling machines is preferred. Must have successfully completed formal training in basic electrical theory.Knowledge of 110 through 480-volt systems, and lower DC control voltageKnowledge of electrical theory, electrical code and trade practicesSchematic readingAdvance controls - ability to troubleshoot start circuits, etc.Some troubleshooting for 24V equipment and analog systemsBasic instrument testing, including valve positions and operational simulation etc.Advanced troubleshooting of both instrumentation and electrical systems.Knowledge, troubleshooting and repair of AC and DC drives and controls.CNC Machining Centers, Fanuc Controls, Siemen's, etc.Installation and setup of PLC'sAbility to wire integrated systems from more advanced wiring schematicsKnowledge of relay logicAbility to safely work on any equipment in the plantAbility to lay out own work with minimal directionWorking Conditions: Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.Acknowledgements: The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position. Shifts run either Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday and every other Wednesday. The shifts that are available (depending on the role) are:Day shifts (6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.) - Shift Differential $2.00 per hourNight shifts (6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.) - Shift Differential $3.00 per hour
