Coverage NeededNovember 2, 2025 - December 29, 2025Schedule: 10-hour shifts, days, nights, weekendsNovember 2 (6a-4p), December 24 (6a-4p), December 25 (6a-4p, 12p-10p), December 26 (12p-10p), December 29 (12p-10p)Clinical DetailsAverage Outpatient Volume: 100 patients per day (1.8 patients per hour)Average Inpatient Census: 20ICU/Critical Care Duties: NoResponse to Codes: YesAfter Hours Admissions Protocol: HospitalistProcedures: Standard Emergency Medicine proceduresBed Size: 26-bed emergency department with 6 designated Psych bedsSupport Staff: Team includes 9 physicians and 57 nurses; 4-bed convenient care staffed by one Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant and an RN or ParamedicEMR: EPIC24-hour Hospitalist and Radiology coverageVidant Air and Vidant Ground Support for patient transfersRequirementsMust have practiced Emergency Medicine in the last 12 monthsActive NC license and DEABoard CertifiedCertifications if not EM trained: ACLS, ATLS, PALS
