Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician Location: Whiteriver Indian Hospital, Whiteriver, AZ Schedule: 12 hours shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Duration: Base + Four (4) One-Year Option Periods Contract Type: 1099 or W-2 Facility: Indian Health Service Whiteriver Service Unit Qualifications: Completed Emergency Medicine residency (board certified/eligible) OR Family/Internal Medicine residency with 1.5+ years of ED experience Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or territory Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS Responsibilities: Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients, including complex and critical cases Perform patient assessment, diagnostics, stabilization, and treatment Admit and manage inpatients overnight (17 00) Respond to all "Code Blue" pages across the WRSU campus Provide guidance to mid-level ED providers during shifts Coordinate patient transfers and referrals, complete necessary documentation for Contract Health Services Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation per hospital standards Comply with CMS, EMTALA, and Joint Commission requirements Prime Physicians is a physician-led, The Joint Commission (TJC) Accredited, ISO 9001 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised organization.
