The provider will independently manage a full range of emergency presentations, utilize a dedicated trauma room and pediatric treatment room, and coordinate seamless handoffs for patients requiring inpatient admission across the HCA system.Daily Breakdown / Responsibilities:Annual patient volume: 19,000 (approx. 52 patients per day)Private care beds: 12Managing trauma and pediatric cases as appropriateHandoff of admitted patients to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists for inpatient careEngagement in phone interview with Site Directors prior to assignment for fit and Q&AFacility Details:Setting: Main hospital and freestanding emergency departmentsTrauma: Dedicated trauma roomPediatrics: Dedicated pediatric treatment roomInpatient admissions transferred to HCA partner hospitals for continuity of careRequirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)OR Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with 2 years of Emergency Medicine experienceEM residency training requiredACLS and PALS requiredThis locums opportunity is ideal for Emergency Medicine physicians seeking a flexible, multi-site assignment with diverse case exposure and strong inpatient support.Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
