Emergency Physician (PRN)Location: VA Clinic – Marion, INEmployer: US Got People (USGP)USGP is actively seeking a PRN Emergency Physician to support our veterans, active-duty service members, and their families at the VA Clinic in Marion, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a mission driven environment while gaining valuable federal facility experience. Position Details & Compensation:Schedule: Fridays, 12:00 AM – Saturdays, 8:00 AMCompensation: $145.00/hourLocation: VA Clinic | Marion, IN Qualifications:Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Certifications Required:Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent emergency room experience (Residency training counts)Board Certification:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal MedicineLicensure:Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any S. State, Territory, or the District of ColumbiaKey Responsibilities:As a PRN Emergency Physician, you will be responsible for the initial evaluation, urgent treatment, and ongoing care of patients with a broad spectrum of conditions. Duties include but are not limited to:Delivering general emergency medical care, including:Minor trauma and wound careBurn treatmentRespiratory and GI symptom managementPerforming procedures such as:Laceration repairCatheterizationVenous line insertionSpinal immobilizationManaging acute issues across various specialty areas:Cardiovascular and metabolic emergenciesNeurological and psychiatric crisesOB/GYN and urologic conditionsENT, ophthalmic, and musculoskeletal traumaInfectious diseases and environmental exposures (e.g., hypothermia, neardrowning)You’ll play a crucial role in delivering timely, compassionate, and comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population.Why Join USGP?At USGP, we’re committed to the professional growth and well-being of the military communities we serve—and of the healthcare professionals who care for them.
