Emergency Services Director - Blue Ridge Medical Center

The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, Georgia. We are looking for an ER Director. The Emergency Services Director oversees the operations of the Emergency Department (ED) to ensure high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this role involves leadership, strategic planning, budget management, compliance, and staff coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage ED staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  
• Oversee daily ED operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and resource utilization.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  
• Manage departmental budgeting and financial performance.
  
• Collaborate with hospital departments and external agencies to enhance patient outcomes.
  
• Function as a staff nurse when needed.
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
  
• Experience: 5+ years of hospital-based emergency nursing, 3+ years in leadership.
  
• Licensure & Certifications: RN license (GA), BLS/ACLS/PALS (or ENPC), CEN or CEM preferred.
