Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription: The incumbent must have a graduate level degree in human services be eligible for a clinical license in the state of Virginia such as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Crossroads CSB provides Clinical Supervision for licensure. Applicants for these positions must be willing to work overnights, weekends and holidays on an On-call basis. Crossroads will provide the training and supervision necessary to become a Certified Pre-Screener. The individual must be able to establish and maintain professional relationships with community stakeholders such as Law Enforcement Officers, Emergency Room nurses and doctors, and the general public. Knowledges of:Community mental health and substance us disabilities. Crisis intervention theory and practices.Fundamental concepts of normal and abnormal human behavior, personality development family and group dynamics.Mental health diagnosis and assessment. DSM-V, its uses and diagnostic categories. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Security And Privacy Regulations as they relate to the protection of confidential medical information and personal health information as required by law, professional ethics, and accreditation requirements.Skills in:Clinical assessment, crisis assessment and intervention, and other mental health and substance use service delivery.Effective interpersonal relations including dealing with clients, staff and various public agencies.Effective written and oral communication.Organizational and effective time management
