ABOUT THE FIRMA midsize California law firm with multiple offices across the state is seeking an associate attorney to join its Trial Litigation Practice Group. For over three decades the firm has been recognized as a trusted provider of legal services for high-profile high-stakes matters involving both public sector and private sector clients.The litigation team handles complex high-impact matters in state and federal courts frequently representing governmental agencies. The firm is regularly engaged by transportation authorities counties cities and other public entities on major public infrastructure projects including real estate issues and property acquisition matters such as eminent domain.ABOUT THE POSITIONThe firm is seeking a bright committed and ambitious attorney with three to seven years of experience and a demonstrated focus or interest in real estate and eminent domain litigation. This position may be based in the firms San Diego Los Angeles or Oakland office.Key QualificationsCandidates must demonstrate:Excellent academic recordStrong analytical reasoning and creative problem-solving abilitiesSuperior research and writing skillsA high level of initiative and professional work ethicProven ability to work collaboratively in team settingsExperience in eminent domain real estate or public-entity land acquisition litigation (required)Desired Litigation ExperienceCandidates should have substantive experience in:Law and motion practice including dispositive motionsCase development and trial preparationEvidence buildingWitness interviewsTaking and defending depositionsThis role offers a motivated attorney the opportunity to gain meaningful litigation and trial experience on a broad range of real estate eminent domain and public-entity land acquisition matters throughout California.WORKPLACE & COMPENSATIONThe firm offers a hybrid work schedule featuring work-from-home flexibility combined with core in-office days to support collaboration and team culture.Actual compensation will depend on experience qualifications skills and office location.Additional benefits include:Reasonable billable hour expectationsAnnual discretionary and billable-hours bonusesCompetitive health insurance coverage401(k) with partial matchProfit-sharing Key Skills Dewatering,Facilities Management,Crystal Report,Infection Control,Instrumentation,Anesthesia Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
