Employee Benefits ProducerTower Street Insurance is a highly reputable and fast-growing agency seeking a high-achieving detail-oriented Employee Benefits Insurance Producer to join our Agency based in Dallas Texas. If you are an individual who understands the importance of customer service being a team player and having extensive employee benefits insurance knowledge; as well as value the ability to work for a growing organization we are interested in speaking with you about being a part of our team.Essential Functions:Grow and maintain a book of business for group employee benefits accountsAct as the Account Executive on client accountsEstablishes Strategic Plan for clientsEstablishes general expectations for the service modelResponsible for consistent direct prospecting for new customers developing prospecting programs and using all means available including but not limited to direct phone calls drop-in calls networking social media and referrals to generate and maintain an active client pipelineReCoordinate production efforts with marketing and service personnel as neededResponsible for collecting appropriate data from group prospects to obtain accurate proposals from insurance carriers or administratorsConduct regular meetings with an assigned team of account managers or other support colleagues to keep them abreast and informed of client issues upcoming proposals presentations enrollments and renewalsIdentify and communicate potential cross-selling opportunities for both commercial and personal linesExhibit leadership by fostering teamwork with all colleagues in the agencyKeep abreast of trends and techniques to maintain a competitive status for the agency within the industryAttend sales seminars and educational training activities needed to improve sales techniques stay up to date on the latest developments in the marketplace and maintain required licensesReview all agency activities relating to the public customers and companies to avoid issues involving potential errors and omissionsRequired Skills:Ability to obtain a thorough understanding of group employee benefits underwriting and coverage and interpret abstract dataSelf-motivated with the initiative to prioritize and be self-directedSuperior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Intermediate PC skills with the ability to effectively utilize the agencys management systemsAbility to work within a fast-paced changing priority environmentRegular and punctual attendance is required for designated office daysExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with both colleagues and managers across all levelsAbility to promote and maintain a team environment willing to find accommodating solutions for our customers companies and the AgencyAbility to successfully adhere to company policies and procedures as well as maintain strict confidentialityRequired Qualifications:3-5 years in employee benefits insurance brokerage or related business-to-business sales experienceProficiency in MS Office Suite particularly Word Excel and OutlookCollege degree preferred or related work experienceMust hold a Health & Life Insurance License or be willing to obtain one within an agreed-upon timeframe.Company BenefitsA company with a Strong Brand and Positive CultureCompetitive Pay (base salary commissions)Comprehensive Benefits PackagePaid Holidays401K plan with a discretionary company matchFlexible PTOTraining CE classes on and off-site Key Skills Sales Experience,Microsoft Office,Customer Service,Communication skills,Microsoft Outlook,Microsoft Word,Business Management,Benefits Administration,Microsoft Excel,Insurance Sales,Customer relationship management,Human Resources Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
