If you want to earn more than just a paycheck please apply today!Job Summary: As an Employment Specialist-Vocational Rehab you will coordinate and help support our people with disabilities with independent employment in the East Metro: North St Paul Woodbury and St Paul. You will help our people with disabilities grow their skills and gain independence to the greatest extent possible. Wage: $18.50 to $20.00 per hour based upon years of experience How will you make a differenceAs part of team you will help our people with disabilities in the following areas: Assist and support our people with disabilities in securing independent employment in the communityDevelop and coordinate a support plan to make our people with disabilities successful in their independent employment Assist our people with disabilities develop and enhance their work skills in real life situationsBring meaning to their lives by having a job that they enjoyGrow and develop their social skillsWhat will you bring to Opportunity PartnersA desire to make a difference in the lives of our people with disabilities!High school degree or GED Designated Coordinator status (if applicable): One of the following must apply:A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;An associate degree in a field related to human services and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older;A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; orA minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; andFour years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in clauses (1) to (3).Valid Drivers licenseOpportunity Partners is an Equal Opportunity employer committed to affirmative action and a welcoming environment for people of diverse communities.
