We’re seeking a reliable, fast, and highly organized EMT who keeps the clinic running on schedule, communicates clearly with staff and patients, and ensures every detail behind the scenes is handled with precision. This is a non-diagnostic, support-based role.Key Responsibilities (Logistics-First)Patient flow & punctuality: rooming, tracking schedules, minimizing wait times, and keeping providers on time.Communication hub: proactive updates to patients and staff; clear, professional phone/text/email coordination.EMR accuracy: intake verification, documentation, forms/consents, and checklist completion.Room readiness: setup/turnover, stocking, and cleanliness standards.Inventory & supplies: monitor par levels, track expirations, place/receive orders, and maintain storage.Specimen & courier coordination: label, log, package, and handoff on time.Equipment basics: daily checks, maintenance logs, and service requests.Task follow-through: own your queue, close loops, and escalate promptly when needed.What Matters MostExceptional communication: concise, respectful, and proactive—internally and with patients.Timeliness & reliability: on-time starts, tight schedule management, and rapid response to changes.Organization & ownership: runs a clean list, documents accurately, and finishes what you start.Adaptability: learns quickly and adjusts gracefully to evolving workflows.QualificationsCurrent California EMT certification and BLS.1+ year in a clinical, EMS, or medical office setting.Comfortable with EMR, basic intake/vitals, and professional patient interaction.Strong writing/spelling; bilingual Spanish is a plus.What We OfferCompetitive hourly pay with performance-based incentives tied to punctuality, accuracy, and patient experience.Clear workflows, supportive team, and growth opportunities within a multi-location wellness clinic.
