Is accountable for compliance with maintenance schedules daily readiness of the vehicles and overall cleanliness. Provides patient care within the ALS/BLS program and the BLS scope of care. Provides clinical assistance to other team members the Emergency Departments and the Business Office within the scope of the EMT role.#FFLJob RequirementsIn addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:One year of experience as a licensed EMTOne year of experience driving ambulance or other emergency vehicle Two years as a licensed driverFamiliarity with local regionHigh School Diploma/GED requiredCurrent Colorado State EMT certification requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Heart Association requiredIV certification within 2 months of hire requiredCompletion of Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC or CVEO) within 6 months of hire/transfer and Valid Colorado drivers license and no moving violations for past two years requiredNeonatal Resuscitation Program within 12 months of hire/transfer for EMTs doing BLS transports requiredPhysical Requirements: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
