EMT or LPN 3rd ShiftJob Summary:Indiana Packers Corporation is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to respond to emergencies and treat employees that have been injured or are ill due to work-related or personal. This position will also work closely with other departments to promote adherence to medical and safety protocols. The schedule hours for the EMT or LPN position are Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays 10:00 pm to 6:30 am for the third shift.Responsibilities:Provide preventative and emergency medical care for injured or ill peopleEnsure personal well-beingUnderstand basic medical / legal principlesPrepare documentation and reports and maintains recordsComplete probable cause or post-accident assessment of employeeEnsure OSHA Workers Compensation and other medically necessary complianceFunction within the scope of medical care as defined protocol and state regional and local regulatory agenciesMaintain confidential informationAssist with incident investigations and required documentationPerform other duties as needed or requiredLead emergency medical team when called to the production floor or other facility areasPerform other duties as needed or requiredTo be successful in this job an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
