Job Description

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to join our Endoscopy Team!Under the supervision of the registered nurse assists physicians performing endoscopic procedures both in the endoscopy unit and the OR obtains specimens and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Demonstrates the ability to safely and carefully setup and disconnect the endoscopic equipment and reprocess scopes according to established manufacturer guidelines. Maintains endoscopic equipment and supplies as needed. Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience tact stamina and endurance.Qualifications and Preferred Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Must be able to achieve CPR certification within 60 days of employment.Ability to relate and work effectively with others.Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own professional advancement.Must be able to work independently with good time management.Previous experience is preferred.CNA license is preferred.
