Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.Why Youll Love This OpportunityShape the Future of Aviation: Design systems that improve safety and efficiency for pilots ground crews and travelers worldwide.High-Impact Projects: Work on major airport programs including ATCTs runway rehabilitation and expansions terminals airfield improvement programs and FAA safety initiatives.Career Growth Built-In: Access mentorship technical training and career pathways toward senior engineering and leadership roles.Flexible Work Options: Choose a location that works for youwork from home one of our U.S. offices or a hybrid setup.Supportive Engineering Culture: Collaborate with industry-leading aviation engineers in a team that values innovation learning and teamwork.What You Will Do:Design airfield navigational aid (NAV-AIDS) systems including ILS VOR DME PAPI/VASI NAVAID shelters and associated power/control systems and ATCTs.Prepare engineer plans specifications and reports for aviation electrical projects.Perform load calculations lighting layouts cabling design and power distribution analysis.Ensure designs comply with FAA NEC NFPA and ICAO standards.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil mechanical plumbing fire/life safety and systems engineers.Support construction-phase services such as submittal reviews RFIs and field inspections.Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery and best practices.What You Will Bring:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE required).Significant experience in electrical engineering designATCT and/or NAV-AIDS required.Experience with high-voltage medium-voltage and/or low-voltage distribution ATCTs airfield lighting systems etc.Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; Revit AGI32 or similar tools a plus.EIT or PE strongly desirable (or ability to obtain).Excellent communication skills and a proactive collaborative mindset.Benefits You Will LoveCertified as a Great Place to Work Woolpert is one of the fastest-growing architecture engineering and geospatial companies in the world.
