Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.Youll play a key role in designing and scoping effective interfaces and design criteria for wayside transit equipment and sub-systems contributing to the development of world-class transit systems. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (multi-disciplinary engineers project teams suppliers consultants and contractors) prepare bids proposals and design specifications and much more.Well look to you for:Preparing system-level and detailed design reviews and leading sub-system design reviews to ensure all requirements are metCreating bids proposals design drawings specifications and criteria for wayside systems and sub-systems such as running surfaces/rails guidance systems buffers platform screen door systems switching systems equipment mounting designs power rails and heating systemsPreparing scope drawings design calculations and reference materials to establish and maintain baseline designs and interfacesEstablishing strong working relationships and interfacing with clients technical representatives internal teams engineers project managers and construction teamsLeading research and development activities for wayside systems and sub-systemsCollaborating with suppliers and fabricators including supporting First Article InspectionsTraveling up to 10% domestically and/or internationally.All about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
