The key functions of this role are:Own New Product Development from design phase through mass productionWork with Architecture Design Marketing Software Test Planning and Manufacturing teams to achieve common goal of successful product launchInterface with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve manufacturing issues that are technical (fab test design related) and non-technical (supply chain system related)Work with Applications and Quality Engineering teams to support customer returns and failure analysisDrive continuous improvement in product quality and costRequirements/Qualifications:B.S. in Engineering with 2.5 years of relevant experience or MS in Engineering with 0-3 years of relevant experienceOutstanding written and verbal skills are a must with a focus on attention to detailStrong analytical skills to analyze validation data ATE datalogs and fab electrical test dataExperience with bench laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes supplies and metersAbility to comprehend and review design objective specifications and data sheetsPackaging technology knowledge preferredWorking knowledge of semiconductor supply chain desiredExperience with Microsoft Access is a plusGood understanding of semiconductor device physics and processing is a plusTravel Time:0% - 25%Physical Attributes:Hearing Seeing Talking Works Alone Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:Standing 20% Walking 10% Sitting 70% Inside 100%Microchip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
