The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.Security Clearance: None/Not RequiredThe Quality Engineer ensures that products and processes meet quality standards through inspection testing analysis and implementation of improvements. This role also ensures compliance with regulatory and industry standards. The Quality Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineering and supply chain to investigate quality issues improve processes and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.This role is on 2nd shift Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM. What You Will Do:Supports manufacturing processes and product builds to ensure they comply with Quality and Engineering requirementsLead problem solving initiatives & challenges status quo (e.g. root cause and corrective action investigations OEE FPY customer escapes)Support analysis and recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processesInterfaces with fellow quality and manufacturing engineers structures design engineers engineering management operations quality inspectors shop floor personnel and external vendors.Assists senior quality and manufacturing technical staff in cross-discipline technical initiatives involving design quality equipment testing Material Review Board (MRB) and Materials & Process engineersParticipates in continuous improvement for established processes for further improvement of quality speed and costSupports AS9102 FAI (First Article Inspection) ReviewResponsible for managing time and being organized with daily tasksWork with team members customers suppliers and in a team environmentRead write speak and understand work instructions both verbal and written perform basic math calculations and conduct self-inspection / auditQualifications You Must Have:Must have a degree in ScienceTechnology Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of priorrelevant experience unless prohibited bylocal laws/regulations or an Advanced Degree in a related field.Experience working in a manufacturing environmentExperience interpreting technical documentsQualifications We Prefer:Knowledge of Statistical Process Controls and Capability analysisStrong communication skills and ability to work on a teamExperience with AS9100 Quality Management SystemExperience with AS9102 First Article Inspection RequirementsSix Sigma CORE Shainin RedX Problem Solving or ASQ CertificationWhat We OfferThis position may offer relocation support. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
