This individual will be responsible for maintaining on time delivery of raw material to Kettering operations supplier qualification process Improvement and optimization. Additionally this individual will manage projects while developing and sustaining an infrastructure for Lean / Six Sigma margin expansion and strategic growth. There will be times when continuity of supply requires direct support of the manufacturing floor. Manufacturing/Process Engineering experienceDemonstrated Project Management experience dealing with interdisciplinary interaction to meet project schedulesDemonstrated experience managing teams successfully without a direct reporting relationshipDemonstrated experience managing suppliers and external technical resources.Working knowledge of product costing structures and COGsGeneral understanding of statistical analysis for purposes of equipment validationExperienced with Process Improvement/Optimization utilizing Lean Six Sigma (LSS) skillsetStrong organizational skillsHands onExcellent communication skills.Strongly motivated and goal orientedWill adjust working hours and/or work extra hours to meet project deadlinesPreferred QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent experienceLSS Green Belt or equivalent experience.ISO 13485:2003 iso 9001:2008Physical DemandsAbility to lift 50 poundsCompensationThe compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
