DescriptionStarting pay: $26.00 USDJOB SUMMARYPerform all mechanical plumbing and electrical maintenance throughout property.ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but is not limited to the following)Implement routine maintenance and urgent repair works in accordance with sound engineering practices and occupational health and safety regulationsClosely monitor the effects of servicing and maintenance on their condition wherever possibleEnsure that all records of maintenance and testing are keptPerform preventive maintenance of all mechanical equipmentAble to work on Kitchen equipment inclusive with refrigerationLamp replacementFixture repair and replacementCircuit breaker resetChange AC filtersHotel Guest room repairsRespond to Maximo WOsSupport eventsExemplifies our core values family style service our mission and vision.Exemplifies our DEI (diversity equity inclusion) culture.Perform other job related duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIESWorked in the Engineering or Facilities department in relation to general building maintenanceFamiliar with Plumbing systemsFamiliar with HVAC systemsIntimate knowledge of all electricalMinimum 3 years experience in above duties is preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)Work may be performed inside and outside in all types of weather conditions in small areas such as attics and high areas such as catwalks areas that may be unusually hot cold noisy smoky dimly lit or brightly entails use of chemicals and electrical and mechanical devices. Constant contact with staff and guests.Requires 90% mobility to include frequent standing bending and reaching from floor to 6ft. climbing using ladders and stairs; operating equipment such as scissor lifts forklift pallet jack; transporting pushing pulling lifting and maneuvering large loads weighing up to 100 lbs. use of hand and power tools. Requires eye/hand coordination and manual normal sense of smell touch and sound. Requires normal vision range. Requires the ability to distinguish letters and symbols.
