The Engineering and Architecture Lead is responsible for designing developing and delivering high-quality web applications and internal tools. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to architect build and continuously improve robust scalable and secure systems. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in modern development frameworks and tools and brings a proactive approach to enhancing system performance availability and scalability. Your work will directly improve the efficiency and security of data access workflows within Redhorse impacting multiple clients and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs conduct user research and translate insights into innovative design solutions.Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams (e.g. operations support product data teams) to understand user pain points and translate them into intuitive software solutions.Write clean maintainable and well-tested code following best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews design discussions and team planning sessions.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.Continuously improve system performance scalability and security.Integrate with internal and third-party systems.Design develop and maintain tools and systems that improve operational efficiency internal workflows and customer-facing functions.Required Experience/ClearanceTS/SCI w/ PolygraphBachelors Degree in Cloud Computing Computer Science Information Technology Information Systems or Cybersecurity.10 years of architecture and engineering experience in the IC.Demonstrated six (6) years of experience in architecting and engineering classified IC systems.Certified in AWS orequivalentcloudtechnology.Three(3) years of experience using C2C or C2E to deliver technical solutions.Desired ExperienceMasters degree in any of the above disciplines.
