We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Applications Specialist in our Rock Island IL office. This position can also be Remote for the right candidate. As a Civil Engineering Applications Specialist you will be responsible for being the primary point of contact for advances and development in Autodesk and Bentley software related to civil engineering and the services IMEG offers. The Specialist will strategically advance the use of software for engineering and plan preparation while developing IMEG specific content that meets corporate standards.Principal Responsibilities: Strategically advance the use of BIM software for engineering and systems integration designAssure efficient operations in both domestic and international officesDevelop and maintain BIM and Revit standardsMaintain and support the process for project setup and project maintenanceAssist in the management of deployments ad updates for Autodesk and related softwareWork to standardize workflows and practices among offices and teamsDevelop IMEG specific content that meets Corporate standardsProvide desktop troubleshooting and technical supportAssist in the creation and presentation of education materialsAct as a leader and coach in the use of BIM to increase Corporate-wide confidence in BIM and RevitUpdate standards with or without markupsSupport innovation sustainability and quality plansRequired Skills/Abilities:Future: Highest rank of assessment on quarterly reviewsIn-depth working knowledge of current BIM applications with an emphasis on project setup model management education and troubleshootingKnowledge of designs techniques tools and principals involved in production of precision technical plans and drawingsSkilled in the use of work processing and spreadsheet softwareAbility to work with individuals of all levels of experienceAbility to reach and understand information and ideas presented in writingAbility to communicate information and ideas in writing so other will understandAbility to effectively communicate ideas to groups or individualsAbility to plan and prioritize workProficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word Excel and OutlookAbility to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight staysEducation and experience: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of AutoCAD 3D experience requiredORAssociates degree in Engineering or equivalent preferredMinimum of 6 years of AutoCAD 3D experience required#LI-RemoteThis position is not eligible for sponsorshipSalary Range $65000 - $85000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant.
