Hourly Compensation: $27.50 (This is a set hourly wage. Directly respond to guest/employee engineering needs. Individual will be responsible for maintaining the hotels indoor and outside walls conducting walks throughout the property identifying damages that need to be addressed and repaired.JOB DUTIES:Be able to communicate effectively to all guests and other departmentsHelp in training new crewmembers to meet department responsibilitiesRespond all incoming calls guest requests and radio calls professionally efficiently and in a timely mannerAssist with performing inspections preventative maintenance schedules and repairsComplete duty engineer daily task sheet and perform preventative maintenance as-assignedAssist in performing inventories ordering and stock controlFollow proper procedures in returning all shop tools ladders and test equipment to its proper areaFollow future and established elevator policyFollow proper electrical safety lock-out-tag-out proceduresMaintain cleanliness of all engineering spacesMaintain a proper engineering and turnover logAssist in maintaining reports and documentsFollow guidelines presented in the employee handout bookAttend engineering departmental meetings as scheduledPerform other tasks as requestedQUALIFICATIONS:High School or equivalentTwo (2) years of training or equal experience in one of the tradesPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Hospitality-related field a BIG plus!Multi-lingual a BIG plus!
