Oversee the planning execution and successful completion of engineering projects ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes reduce waste and enhance product quality. Ensure the implementation and adherence to safety standards regulatory compliance and quality control procedures within engineering operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with production quality assurance and R&D teams to align engineering activities with business goals. Manage departmental budgets resource allocation and capital expenditure for engineering projects. Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and capability. Recommended Qualifications Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical electrical industrial) applicable to manufacturing. Proven experience leading mentoring and developing engineering teams. Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes lean methodologies and continuous improvement. Solid project management skills including scope budget and timeline management for engineering initiatives. Ability to effectively solve complex technical and operational challenges within a manufacturing environment. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies. PMP certification or advanced degree (e.g. MBA M.S. in Engineering Management). Familiarity with ERP (e.g. SAP Oracle) or PLM systems. Knowledge of automation robotics or Industry 4.0 principles.
