Key Responsibilities Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers. Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes quality and efficiency. Provide technical guidance and expertise to resolve complex production challenges. Collaborate with production quality and R&D teams to optimize product manufacturability. Develop and manage the engineering department's budget and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with safety standards regulatory requirements and company policies. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical electrical industrial process engineering). Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing processes lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion. Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical and operational problems driving root cause analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with modern manufacturing technologies such as automation robotics or Industry 4.0 concepts. Proficiency with ERP/MES systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Plex) for production planning and data analysis. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management credentials. Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. medical devices aerospace automotive).
