This position ensures that all building systems equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety efficiency and aesthetic excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical skills a passion for hospitality and the ability to inspire and guide a dedicated engineering team in a high-volume luxury setting.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead train motivate and support the engineering team while fostering a positive engaged and high-performance work culture.Conduct regular coaching skills development and performance assessments.Ensure strong collaboration within the department and across the hotel.Operational ExcellencePerform and oversee routine maintenance and repair of all hotel systems including HVAC electrical plumbing mechanical and life-safety equipment.Ensure all facilities equipment and guestrooms are kept in impeccable condition to support the hotels luxury standards.Prioritize and manage work orders to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.Safety Compliance & Risk ManagementSupport safety and security initiatives in coordination with Loss Prevention to maintain a safe environment for guests and associates.Oversee and maintain compliance with all local state and federal codes as well as hotel brand standards.Manage required safety programs including annual inspections licenses and certifications.Financial & Administrative ResponsibilitiesManage departmental budgets capital projects and inventory of tools supplies and materials.Assist with forecasting planning and cost-control initiatives.Maintain accurate logs reports and documentation as needed.Communication & CollaborationCommunicate effectively with the Director of Engineering & Loss Prevention General Manager and ownership regarding operational needs ongoing projects risks and recommendations.Partner with other departments to support smooth hotel operations and exceptional guest experiences3 years of engineering leadership experience in a hotel resort or similar facility.Strong technical knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing mechanical systems and building maintenance.Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and positive culture building.Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations.Working knowledge of safety standards regulatory requirements and preventative maintenance programs.Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays as business needs demand.Marriott or luxury hotel experience preferred but not required.$62000-$66000This company is an equal opportunity employer.frnch1Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Hospitality Experience,Go,Management Experience,React,Redux,Node.js,AWS,Mechanical Engineering,Team Management,Leadership Experience,Mentoring,Distributed Systems Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 62000 - 66000
