Key Responsibilities Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers. Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects from concept to completion. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes and efficiency. Ensure engineering designs and processes meet quality safety and cost objectives. Manage the engineering department budget and resource allocation. Collaborate with production quality and R&D teams to optimize manufacturing operations. Implement and maintain engineering standards and best practices across the facility. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams in a manufacturing environment. Deep understanding of manufacturing processes automation and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma). Strong project management skills including budgeting scheduling and execution of complex engineering projects. Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline relevant to manufacturing (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial). Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and operational issues on a production floor. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies (e.g. IoT AI advanced robotics).
