Oversee the planning execution and successful completion of engineering projects ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes equipment and product designs to enhance efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate cross-functionally with production quality R&D and supply chain teams to integrate engineering solutions. Develop and implement engineering strategies and technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives. Ensure all engineering designs processes and equipment comply with industry standards safety regulations and quality requirements. Manage departmental resources including budget allocation equipment and software to optimize engineering capabilities. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in leading and developing engineering teams within a manufacturing environment. Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial) with direct manufacturing process experience. Demonstrated expertise in project management including budget scope and timeline oversight for engineering initiatives. Experience implementing and optimizing lean manufacturing principles continuous improvement methodologies and quality systems. Ability to analyze complex technical problems develop innovative solutions and drive their implementation to improve operational efficiency and product quality. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Familiarity with ERP MES or PLM systems. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an MBA. Proven experience in implementing or managing automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
